Ingredients for making Easter Egg from Milk Nest:
For the chocolate egg:
500 grams of semisweet chocolate
2 cups for chocolate egg (250 g)
For the Nest milk truffle:
2 cans of condensed milk
1 cup of nest milk
200 milliliters of cream (without whey)
200 grams of chopped white chocolate
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
How to make Easter Egg from Milk Nest:
Start by preparing this delicious Easter Egg from the Nest: chop the chocolate and put 2/3 milk of it to melt in a bain-marie on the stove. If you prefer these 2/3 chocolates in the microwave, put them on full power for 2 or 3 cycles of 30 seconds, stopping to stir.
Tip: By chopping the chocolate into pieces you can make it melt faster. Keep stirring the chocolate to prevent it from burning and having a strange consistency and taste.
When the chocolate is completely melted, remove from the bain-marie or microwave and add the rest of the chocolate (1/3 of the chocolate). Stir to combine very well and melt this chocolate. This is a simple technique for tempering chocolate and preventing it from melting after egg preparation.
Tip: When melting chocolate in a bain-marie, it is very important that it does not come into contact with water or steam, otherwise it will lose its point and stain.
With the help of a brush or spoon, spread a thin layer of chocolate on the egg cups. Place the pans face down on a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, to drain the excess, and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Remove from the eggs from the fridge and add another layer of chocolate. Return to the refrigerator for another 10 minutes and, if necessary, repeat the procedure one more time, to get a harder chocolate cone. At the end there must be enough chocolate left over to cover the filling.
Now prepare the Nest stuffing for Easter egg: in a pan place the condensed milk, the Nest milk, the cream and the white chocolate. Keep stirring until it starts to come unstuck from the bottom of the pan, as in the photo. Turn off, add butter, mix until well combined and let cool.
Tip: This Ninho milk truffle doesn't need to completely unglue from the pan, it should be creamy for a spoonful.
When the Ninho milk truffle is at room temperature, fill the chocolate eggs with it, leaving a space until the top. This space is complete with the remaining melted chocolate, in order to completely cover the filling. Decorate to taste and set aside in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After that time your Nest Easter Egg is ready! Wrap it up and sell it or give it to the kids, everyone will surely like it. Bon appetit and happy Easter!
